Concerned EPS-Committed workers must undergo medical examination only from accredited
clinics and to secure their medical certification. They are instructed to report immediately
to the Recruitment & Documentation Division, Government Placement Branch, Ground floor
POEA for submission of their valid medical (Pre-employment medical exam and tuberculosis test),
passport and other documentary requirements. The Korean Embassy
has issued an instruction on the need to submit the NBI Clearance, valid
for three (3) months from date of issuance when applying for a Korean visa.

issuance of CCVI. Under the new criteria, workers who stayed in Korea for more than five (5)
years using E-9 (non-professional employment) and E-10 (vessel crew) visa
categories can no longer enter Korea for employment purposes.
